Puff Pastry with Crab Salad Appetizer

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce or sambal
  • 1 pack crab sticks (imitation crab), thawed and shredded
  • 1 avocado, cut into cubes
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 pack puff pastry dough
Directions
  1. Prepare puff pastry
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Cut the puff pastry into small squares or circles.
  2. Cook the puff pastry
    • Bake until golden brown and puffed (about 10–15 minutes). 
    • Let cool to room temperature.
  3. Prepare the salad
    • In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sambal (or hot sauce), and a pinch of salt.
    • Add shredded crab sticks, avocado cubes, and diced cucumber. 
    • Mix gently to combine.
  4. Plate and Serve
    • Spoon the crab salad onto the baked puff pastry pieces or serve separately with pastry on the side.
    • Add cilantro as garnish. (Optional)
    • Serve and enjoy.
