Apple Pineapple Pie

Ingredients
  • 4 apples of your choosing
  • 1 can pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 graham cracker pie crust
Directions
  1. Prepare the filling
    1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    2. Dice the apples and add to the pan with the, pineapple, cinnamon, raisins, sugar, salt, and water.
    3. Cook for 6–7 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
  2. Thicken the filling (optional)
    1. Mix the cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water until fully combined.
    2. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the filling thickens.
  3. Bake the pie
    1. Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust.
    2. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  4. Plate and serve
    1. Remove pie from the oven.
    2. Let cool for 5-10 minutes.
    3. Enjoy.
