GRILLING NECESSITIES

Grilling is a great way to get outside and enjoy the changing seasons or to get the party started with a BBQ menu. Did you know you can get everything you need for your grill at SaveMore? We have everything from charcoal to fresh cut meat, and don’t forget to pick up some of your favorite meat seasonings to take your grilling over the top! Our line of Marcum Spices include premade seasonings like Steak Seasoning and Soul Seasoning, or you can pick up a few to make your own!

RUBS & MARINADES

Looking to pack on extra flavor? Consider adding a dry rub or marinade before grilling. Adding extra flavor like this means you’ll need to plan ahead a few hours to let the meat, poultry or fish absorb the flavor before cooking.

Make sure to pat dry your meat before applying a dry rub. This will ensure that the rub sticks to the meat. Don’t be shy when applying a dry rub; make sure the meat is completely covered and the rub is pressed into the meat. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours after applying.

Before adding your raw meat to a marinade, set aside some of the mixture to baste with after it's finished cooking. We suggest using a large plastic bag to make the marinade in. Bags are easy to handle and you can easily move the meat around to ensure the marinade has completely coated the meat - and it is easy to clean up afterwards!
