Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp nutmeg powder
- 3 bananas (bacoba)
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup liquid milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup walnuts
- Caramel or strawberry sauce (optional)
- 2 aluminum baking pans
Directions
- Prepare the wet ingredients
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
- Add eggs, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Mix until fully combined.
- Add the dry ingredients
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients a little bit at a time.
- Mix until just combined.
- Chop and fold the walnuts into the batter.
- Bake the banana bread
- Pour the batter into the prepared aluminum pans.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Plate and Serve
- Take the banana bread out of the oven and let cool slightly.
- Cut into single portions and lay out on a plate.
- Top with a drizzel of either caramel or strawberry sauce (optional).
- Enjoy.
